Public Transport
If you're starting from the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) station in Babylon, take the LIRR train towards Penn Station. After arriving at Babylon Station, exit the station and head to the Babylon Ferry Terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs leading you towards the ferry to Fire Island. Purchase a ferry ticket for the ride to the Fire Island Pines or Ocean Beach, depending on your preference. Upon arriving on Fire Island, you can either take a shuttle bus or walk towards Robert Moses Field #5 Parking Lot, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the ferry terminal.

From the Patchogue train station, take the LIRR train towards Babylon. Once you arrive at Babylon, follow the previous directions to get to the Babylon Ferry Terminal. Take the ferry to Fire Island. Once on the island, walk or take a shuttle to reach Robert Moses Field #5 Parking Lot.

After reaching Babylon, navigate to the Babylon Ferry Terminal and take the ferry to Fire Island.
