Getting There

    From the Poughkeepsie Transit Center, take the Trailways bus towards Kingston. Make sure to check the schedule for bus times, as they can vary. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop for Mount Tremper. From there, the Catskills Visitor Center is about a 10-minute walk. Head east on NY-28, and you will find the center on your left at 5096 NY-28.

  • Train and Bus

    Take the Metro-North train from Poughkeepsie Station to Rhinecliff-Kingston Station. Once you arrive, transfer to the Trailways bus service that goes to Mount Tremper. The total travel time may take around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Get off the bus at the Mount Tremper stop, and the Catskills Visitor Center will be about a 10-minute walk to your left on NY-28.
