Car
If you're driving, the most common route to Zen Mountain Monastery is via NY-28. From the center of the Catskill Mountains, head west towards NY-28. Follow NY-28 for about 15 miles until you reach the intersection with Plank Road (County Road 40). Turn left onto Plank Road. Continue on Plank Road for approximately 2 miles, and you will see Zen Mountain Monastery on the left at 871 Plank Rd, Mt Tremper, NY 12457. There is no parking fee.

If you are using public transportation, take the Trailways bus from New York City to the town of Kingston. The bus ride takes about 2.5 hours.
