    If you are starting from downtown Syracuse, head east on E Washington St toward S Salina St. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S State St. Turn left onto S State St and continue for about 0.3 miles. Then, turn right onto E Genesee St and walk for 0.4 miles. After that, turn left onto S Crouse Ave and continue for 0.2 miles. Finally, turn right onto Thornden Park Dr and you will arrive at Thornden Park.

    From downtown Syracuse, locate the Centro bus station. Take the Centro bus route #30 (Eastwood) or #7 (Westcott). If on route #30, get off at the stop near E Genesee St and S State St. Walk east along E Genesee St until you reach S Crouse Ave, then turn left and walk to Thornden Park Dr. If on route #7, get off at the Westcott stop and walk down to Thornden Park Dr, following the same route as above.

    If you prefer to bike, start from downtown Syracuse and head east on E Washington St. Then, take a right onto S State St and continue until you reach E Genesee St. Turn left onto E Genesee St, and after about 0.4 miles, turn left onto S Crouse Ave. Follow S Crouse Ave until you reach Thornden Park Dr, where you will find the entrance to the park. Make sure to use bike lanes where available for safety.
