Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Watkins Glen, head northwest on N Franklin St toward E 4th St. Continue onto NY-14 N/State Route 14 N. After approximately 1.5 miles, turn left onto Locust Lane. Continue on Locust Lane until you reach the address 2801-2821 Locust Ln, where Templar Falls is located. There is limited parking available on Locust Lane, so be mindful of any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for routes that service Watkins Glen. The closest bus stop could be near the downtown area. Once you arrive in Watkins Glen, you will need to walk to Locust Lane. Head northwest on N Franklin St and continue onto NY-14 N. Walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach Locust Lane. From there, walk down Locust Lane to find Templar Falls at 2801-2821 Locust Ln. Be aware that there may not be direct public transit options that take you to the falls, so plan for a walking distance.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Watkins Glen. Start at the center of town and head northwest on N Franklin St toward E 4th St, then continue onto NY-14 N. After approximately 1.5 miles, make a left on Locust Lane. Ride down Locust Lane to reach Templar Falls at 2801-2821 Locust Ln. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws while cycling.
