Public Transit
From White Plains, head to the White Plains Metro-North train station located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Purchase a ticket for the Harlem Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Board the train and enjoy the ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 125th Street station in Harlem, New York. Once you exit the station, head west on 125th Street for about 0.4 miles. The Apollo Theater will be on your right at 253 W 125th St. The journey will take around 50-60 minutes in total, including walking time.
Bus
From White Plains, you can take the Bee-Line Bus Service. Head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Bee-Line Bus Route 20 towards the Bronx. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes, and get off at the 125th Street stop. From there, walk west along 125th Street for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the Apollo Theater at 253 W 125th St on your left. The entire journey may take about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Walking and Metro-North
If you prefer to walk, start from the White Plains Metro-North train station located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Take the train on the Harlem Line towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 125th Street station in Harlem. From there, walk west on 125th Street for about 0.4 miles until you reach the Apollo Theater at 253 W 125th St. The total time for this option, including the walk, will be around 1 hour.
