    Subway

    Start at the White Plains Metro-North Station. Take the Harlem Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Grand Central Terminal. From Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 4, 5, 6, or S train to 42nd Street-Bryant Park. Transfer to the B or D train and take it towards Brooklyn. Get off at the York Street station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the East River, and you will find yourself in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

    Bus

    Begin at the White Plains Bus Terminal. Look for the Bee-Line Bus Route 1 which goes towards New York City. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the last stop at the White Plains Metro-North Station. From there, follow the subway instructions above to reach Dumbo.

    Walking

    If you are already in the downtown area of White Plains, you can walk to the White Plains Metro-North Station. This will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point. Once at the station, follow the subway instructions provided above to reach Dumbo.
