Getting There

• Train

  From White Plains Metro-North train station, take the Harlem Line towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit the station and head towards the subway station located in the terminal. Take the 7 train towards Flushing and transfer at Times Square-42nd Street to the 1, 2, or 3 train. Board the 1 train towards South Ferry and get off at 50th Street. From there, walk one block west on 50th Street until you reach 222 W 51st St. The Gershwin Theatre will be on your left.

• Bus

  Start at the White Plains Bus Terminal. Take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx. This bus will take you directly to the West Side of Manhattan. After about an hour, get off at the intersection of 50th Street and 8th Avenue. From there, walk one block east on 50th Street until you reach 222 W 51st St. The Gershwin Theatre will be on your right.

• Walking

  If you are already in downtown White Plains, you can walk to the White Plains Metro-North train station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Once you are at the station, follow the Train guidance above. If you prefer to walk the entire way, it is approximately a 33-mile journey to Manhattan, which would take about 10 hours of continuous walking, so it’s not recommended.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride from your location in White Plains to 222 W 51st St, New York, NY 10019. The drive will take around 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
