Getting There

  • Train

    From White Plains, head to the White Plains Metro-North Train Station located at 1 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket for the Hudson Line heading towards Grand Central Terminal. Board the train and enjoy the approximately 35-minute ride to the New York City area. Once you arrive at the Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the S subway line (7 train).

  • Subway

    Take the 7 subway train from Grand Central Station towards Flushing – Main Street. After three stops, get off at Times Square-42nd Street Station. From there, transfer to the A, C, or E trains and head downtown towards 14th Street. Get off at the 14th Street Station and follow the signs to exit at 8th Avenue.

  • Walking

    After exiting the subway at 14th Street and 8th Avenue, walk west towards the Hudson River. You can follow 14th Street to the riverfront. As you approach the river, you will see signs for Hudson River Park. Continue walking until you reach W 13th Street. Little Island will be located at Pier 55 in Hudson River Park, just off W 13th St.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, after arriving at Grand Central, you can take the M42 bus heading west towards the Hudson River. Get off at the 12th Ave/West 42nd St stop. From there, you can walk south on 12th Avenue, and then turn left onto W 13th St to reach Little Island located at Pier 55.
