Train
From White Plains Metro-North Station, board a southbound train on the Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 30 minutes, alight at Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. Once you exit the station, walk east on Atlantic Avenue until you reach Boerum Place. Turn left onto Boerum Place and continue walking straight. After about 5 minutes, turn right onto Schermerhorn Street. The New York Transit Museum will be on your left at 99 Schermerhorn St.

Bus
From White Plains, you can take the BxM4C express bus towards New York City. Get off at the last stop, which is located at the corner of 34th Street and 6th Avenue. From there, transfer to the subway. Take the R train from 34th Street-Herald Square station, heading towards Bay Ridge-95th Street. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Court Street station in Brooklyn. Exit the station and walk east on Montague Street for about 5 minutes, then turn left onto Schermerhorn Street. The New York Transit Museum will be on your left at 99 Schermerhorn St.

From White Plains, take a Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal. At Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 4 or 5 train towards Brooklyn. Get off at Borough Hall station after about 30 minutes. From there, walk south on Court Street for a few blocks, then turn right onto Schermerhorn Street. The New York Transit Museum will be located on your right at 99 Schermerhorn St.
