    From the White Plains Metro-North Station, take the train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 34th Street - Penn Station stop. From there, walk east on 34th Street until you reach 7th Avenue, then turn north and walk until you reach 27th Street. Turn left (west) on 27th Street, and the Museum at FIT will be on your left at 227 W 27th St.

    Catch the Bee-Line Bus #60 from the White Plains Bus Terminal towards the Bronx. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes, then get off at the stop at 125th Street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the M7 or M20 bus heading downtown. Get off at the stop at 27th Street and 7th Avenue. Walk west on 27th Street, and the Museum at FIT will be on your left at 227 W 27th St.

  • Subway

    Take the Metro-North train from White Plains to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway station and take the S (Shuttle) train to Times Square. At Times Square, transfer to the N, Q, R, or W subway line heading downtown. Get off at the 28th Street station. Exit the station and walk west on 28th Street until you reach 7th Avenue. Turn left (south) on 7th Avenue, then turn left (east) on 27th Street. The Museum at FIT will be on your right at 227 W 27th St.
