    Getting There

    Train

    From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Train Station located at 1 Hudson St, Yonkers, NY 10701. You can walk there if you are in downtown Yonkers, or take a local bus to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The Metro-North train towards Grand Central will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.

    Subway

    At Grand Central Terminal, take the 42nd Street Shuttle (S) to Times Square. From Times Square, transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines heading to 42nd Street-Times Square. Get off at 59th St - Columbus Circle. From there, walk northeast for about 5 minutes to enter Central Park at the southwest corner, near the Columbus Circle entrance.

    Bus

    Alternatively, from Yonkers, you can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards the Bronx and get off at the last stop, which is in the Bronx. From there, transfer to the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. This route may take a little longer but offers a scenic view of the area.

    Walking

    If you're nearby, you can walk through the neighborhoods of Yonkers towards the Hudson River waterfront and enjoy the view. Follow the Hudson River to the south until you reach the Yonkers Train Station. From there, follow the train instructions mentioned above.
