Getting There

• Train

  From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 1 Hudson St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Board a southbound train on the Hudson Line. The journey will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit.

• Subway

  After exiting Grand Central Terminal, head to the 42nd Street-Bryant Park subway station. Take the B, D, F, or M train downtown to 47th-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center station. Once you exit the subway, walk east for two blocks towards 30 Rockefeller Plaza. FAO Schwarz will be on your left.

• Bus

  From the Yonkers Metro-North train station, you can also take the Bee-Line Bus System. Board the BxM4C express bus toward Midtown Manhattan. The bus will take you to various stops in Manhattan. Ask the driver to let you off at 6th Avenue and 50th Street. From there, walk two blocks east on 50th Street until you reach 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

• Walking

  If you prefer to explore Yonkers first, you can walk to the Yonkers waterfront. From there, head towards the Hudson River and take the scenic waterfront path. This will eventually lead you to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Once at the station, follow the train guidance above to reach FAO Schwarz.
