From the Yonkers Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main St and Nepperhan Ave. Catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 heading towards the Bronx. Ride for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the 149th St & Grand Concourse stop. Transfer to the 4 subway line at the 149th Street-Grand Concourse station. Take the 4 train towards Woodlawn, and after 6 stops, get off at the 42nd St - Grand Central station. From there, transfer to the 6 subway line heading downtown and get off at the 33rd St station. Finally, walk east on 33rd St for about 5 minutes until you reach Irving Plaza at 17 Irving Pl.

From Yonkers Station, take the Metro-North Railroad Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 6 subway line heading downtown and get off at the 33rd St station. From there, walk east on 33rd St for about 5 minutes until you reach Irving Plaza located at 17 Irving Pl.

If you're close enough to downtown Yonkers, you can walk to the Yonkers waterfront and then head east on Warburton Ave. Continue walking until you reach Main St. From there, head south on Main St until you reach the bus stop at Main St and Nepperhan Ave. From this point, you can catch the Bee-Line Bus #1 or head to the Yonkers Station to take the Metro-North train as described above.
