From Yonkers, you can take the Metro-North Railroad from the Yonkers Station to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 4, 5, or 6 train to Bowling Green Station. Exit the station, and you will be just a short walk from the Staten Island Ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, board the Staten Island Ferry for a scenic ride to Staten Island.

You can take the Bee-Line Bus #1 from various locations in Yonkers towards the Bronx. Get off at the last stop, which will be near the subway station at 149th Street-Grand Concourse. From here, take the 4, 5, or 6 subway train to Bowling Green Station. After exiting the subway, follow the signs to the Staten Island Ferry terminal, which is a short walk away.
