Public Bus
From downtown Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Metro-North Hudson Line train towards Poughkeepsie and get off at the Tarrytown station. Once there, transfer to the Bee-Line Bus Bx20 towards Sparkill. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop for Tallman Mountain State Park, which is located right on Route 9W. The park entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.

Walking
If you are near the waterfront area of Yonkers, you can start your walk by heading north along the Hudson River. Walk along the scenic Riverwalk until you reach the intersection of Warburton Ave and Main St. From there, head west on Main St until you reach Route 9W. Follow Route 9W north for about 2 miles. Tallman Mountain State Park will be on your right. This walk provides beautiful views of the river.
