From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North Station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the 125th Street Station. From there, transfer to the subway: take the A train downtown towards Far Rockaway or the C train towards Euclid Avenue. Get off at West 4th Street Station. From the station, walk south on Washington Square South for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Washington Square Park.

This bus will take you to the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal. From there, take the MTA Bus #181 to the 8th Avenue subway station. Take the A or C train downtown to West 4th Street Station. Walk south on Washington Square South for about 5 minutes to reach Washington Square Park.
