Subway
From anywhere in Yonkers, make your way to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Once there, purchase a ticket for the southbound train towards Grand Central Terminal. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 125th Street Station in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the A or C subway line at 125th Street and head downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Jay St - MetroTech station, then transfer to the F train towards Coney Island. Ride the F train until you reach the Bedford Ave station, which is in the heart of Williamsburg. Exit the station and you will find yourself in Williamsburg.
Bus
Head to the nearest bus stop in Yonkers and take the Bee-Line Bus Route 1 towards the Bronx. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at the Yonkers Metro-North train station. From there, transfer to the Metro-North train heading south to Grand Central Terminal for about 30 minutes. After arriving at Grand Central, follow signs to the subway and take the 4 or 5 train to the Brooklyn Bridge - City Hall station. Transfer to the A or C train at this station and head to the Jay St - MetroTech station. Then, board the F train towards Coney Island and get off at the Bedford Ave station to reach Williamsburg.
Walking & Subway
If you are in central Yonkers, you can start walking towards the Yonkers Metro-North train station, which is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. Once you reach the station, take the Metro-North train heading south to Grand Central Terminal. After arriving, transfer to the A or C subway line and head towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Jay St - MetroTech station, then switch to the F train towards Coney Island. Disembark at the Bedford Ave station, where you will find yourself in the vibrant area of Williamsburg.
