    To get to the Financial District in Manhattan from Yonkers, start by heading to the Yonkers Metro-North Train Station. Purchase a ticket to Grand Central Terminal. Once on the train, enjoy the approximately 30-minute ride. After arriving at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 4 or 5 train (green line) towards Bowling Green. The Financial District is the last stop on this line. Exit at Bowling Green Station, and you will find yourself in the heart of the Financial District.

    From any point in Yonkers, locate the nearest bus stop for the Bee-Line Bus service. Take the Bee-Line Bus #1 towards White Plains. Get off at the White Plains Metro-North Train Station. From there, buy a ticket to Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 4 or 5 subway line towards Bowling Green. Get off at Bowling Green Station, and you will arrive in the Financial District.

  • Walking

    If you are within walking distance of the Yonkers waterfront area, you can enjoy a scenic walk along the Hudson River. Head towards the Yonkers Pier and follow the waterfront path southward. This walk will take you to the Yonkers Metro-North Train Station. From there, take the Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal. After that, follow the subway directions provided earlier.
