Walking
If you're starting from White Plains Metro-North Station, exit the station and head southeast on E Post Rd toward N Broadway. Turn left onto N Broadway and walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with W Main St. Turn right onto W Main St, then take a left onto N Broadway. Continue walking and look for the bus stop for the BxM4C express bus towards Manhattan. Board the bus and ride for approximately 35 minutes until you reach the stop at E 42nd St and 5th Ave. From there, transfer to the subway and take the 7 train towards Flushing. After 6 stops, get off at 5th Ave and 42nd St, and transfer to the 2 train towards Brooklyn. Ride for 2 stops and get off at Chambers St. Exit the station and walk south on Church St for about 5 minutes until you reach John St. Turn left onto John St, and the John Street United Methodist Church will be on your left at 44 John St.

From White Plains, take the BxM4C express bus from the White Plains Metro-North Station bus terminal. The bus ride to Manhattan will take approximately 35 minutes. Get off at the E 42nd St and 5th Ave stop. From there, you can either walk or take the subway. If you decide to take the subway, enter the Grand Central Terminal and take the 7 train towards Flushing. After 6 stops, get off at 5th Ave and 42nd St. Transfer to the 2 train towards Brooklyn and ride for 2 stops to Chambers St. Exit the subway station, walk south on Church St for about 5 minutes until you reach John St. Turn left onto John St, and the church will be on your left at 44 John St.
