Getting There

  • Bus

    From central Yonkers, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Beeline Bus system. Take the BxM4C bus towards Manhattan. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop on 42nd St and 5th Ave. From there, transfer to the M1, M2, M3, or M4 bus heading north. Get off at the stop on 81st St and Central Park West. The Obelisk will be a short walk from there.

  • Train

    Walk to the Yonkers Metro-North train station. Take the Hudson Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 125th St station. From there, transfer to the M60 bus towards LaGuardia Airport and get off at 81st St and Central Park West. The Obelisk is just a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Yonkers, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the BxM4C bus to the 42nd St and 5th Ave stop. From there, walk to the subway entrance at 42nd St and Times Square. Take the 1 train downtown towards South Ferry. Get off at 79th St station and walk east to Central Park. The Obelisk is located along the eastern side of the park.
