    If you're driving, head towards Mārahau from the nearest town, Motueka. Start on High Street and turn onto State Highway 60 towards Riwaka. Continue on this highway for about 14 km, then turn left onto Riwaka-Sandy Bay Road. Follow this road for approximately 8 km until you reach Sandy Bay-Marahau Road. Turn left, and you'll find Abel Tasman Kayaks at 273 Sandy Bay-Marahau Road, Mārahau. Look for the large sign indicating the kayak rental.

    For those using public transport, take a bus from Nelson to Motueka. The bus service is operated by Nelson Coachlines and typically takes about 1 hour.
