Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from Tasman town center. Head south on State Highway 60 (SH60) towards Motueka. Continue on SH60 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with Abel Tasman Drive. Turn right onto Abel Tasman Drive and follow the signs to Abel Tasman National Park. After approximately 12 kilometers, you will reach the car park at the Marahau entrance to the park. Parking is available here, and there may be a small fee for parking, so be prepared with some cash.

    From the Marahau car park, follow the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. The hike to Cleopatra's Pool is around 2.5 kilometers one way.
