If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Motueka. Drive south on State Highway 60 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the Abel Tasman National Park entrance at Marahau. From here, follow the signs to the Marahau car park. The car park has a fee of about NZD $5 per day. Once parked, head to the Marahau Beach where you'll find the water taxi services.
