Getting There

• Bus

  Start your journey at Auckland's Britomart Transport Centre, located at 9-11 Britomart Place. From there, catch the 'Warkworth' bus (Route 995) which departs regularly. Ensure you check the schedule as it may vary on weekends. The bus will take you along the scenic route through North Auckland. Stay on the bus for approximately 50 minutes until you reach the Orewa Village stop. Once you alight, follow the signs towards Hibiscus Coast Highway, and you will see the beach just a short 5-minute walk away.

• Train and Bus

  Begin your trip at Britomart Transport Centre. Take the 'Western Line' train towards Waitakere and disembark at the 'Papakura' station. From there, transfer to the 'Warkworth' bus (Route 995). The bus will take you directly to Orewa. After around 50 minutes, get off at the Orewa Village stop. Follow the signs to Hibiscus Coast Highway, and you should reach Orewa Beach within 5 minutes on foot.

• Walking and Bus Combination

  If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to the nearest bus stop at Victoria Street West. Catch the bus heading to Northcote (Route 80). After about 30 minutes, get off at the Northcote Interchange, where you can transfer to the 'Warkworth' bus (Route 995). This will take you to Orewa Village. Finally, walk towards Hibiscus Coast Highway, and it will take you about 5 minutes to reach Orewa Beach.
