Getting There

  • Bus

    From Auckland Central, head to the Auckland Britomart Transport Centre. Look for the bus services to Orewa. You can take the bus route 80 or 81 that goes towards Hibiscus Coast. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Orewa, get off at the Hibiscus Coast Highway stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Orewa Beach. Head northeast on Hibiscus Coast Highway toward Centreway Road, and you will see the beach access point.

  • Train and Bus

    Start your journey at the Auckland Britomart Transport Centre. Take the train on the Western Line towards Swanson and get off at the Silverdale station. From Silverdale, transfer to the bus service (route 993) heading to Orewa. This bus will take you to the Hibiscus Coast Highway stop. After getting off, walk for about 5 minutes northeast on Hibiscus Coast Highway to reach Orewa Beach.

  • Ferry and Bus

    Begin your journey by taking a ferry from Auckland Ferry Terminal to Gulf Harbour. Once you arrive at Gulf Harbour, you will need to board bus route 993 towards Orewa. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Hibiscus Coast Highway stop, and from there, walk about 5 minutes northeast along Hibiscus Coast Highway to reach Orewa Beach.
