    From Auckland Central, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the bus route 895 towards Albany Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Lucas Creek' stop. From there, walk along Lucas Creek Road heading north for about 15 minutes until you reach the waterfall. Follow the signs for Lucas Creek Waterfall.

  • Train and Bus

    Take the Western Line train from Auckland Central Station towards Swanson. After about 20 minutes, get off at the New Lynn Station. Transfer to bus route 895 towards Albany Station and ride for another 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Lucas Creek' stop and walk north along Lucas Creek Road for about 15 minutes to reach the waterfall.

    If you are closer to the Albany area, you can walk to Lucas Creek Waterfall from Albany Village. Start at Albany Village and head north on Albany Highway. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Lucas Creek Road. Turn left onto Lucas Creek Road and walk for another 1.5 kilometers. The waterfall will be on your left.
