    To get to Shakespear Regional Park from central Auckland, head to the Britomart Transport Centre. From there, take Bus 995 towards Whangaparaoa. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. You will need to get off at the 'Whangaparaoa Rd/Army Bay' stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers (around 20 minutes) to the park entrance located at 1501 Whangaparaoa Road. Follow the signs along the way.

  • Ferry and Bus

    Start your journey at the Downtown Ferry Terminal in Auckland. Take the ferry to Gulf Harbour, which will take about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Gulf Harbour, exit the ferry terminal and catch Bus 995 towards Whangaparaoa. Get off at the 'Whangaparaoa Rd/Army Bay' stop. From the bus stop, it's a 1.5-kilometer walk to Shakespear Regional Park. Follow the signs along the road.

    If you are in the vicinity of the North Shore area, you can take Bus 843 towards Silverdale from the Takapuna bus station. Once you reach Silverdale, transfer to Bus 995 towards Whangaparaoa. Get off at the 'Whangaparaoa Rd/Army Bay' stop. After disembarking, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 20 minutes) to reach the entrance of Shakespear Regional Park at 1501 Whangaparaoa Road.
