From Auckland Central, head to the Britomart Transport Centre. Take the bus route 30 (Pukekohe) or 35 (Bucklands Beach) from Stop A. The bus will take you towards East Auckland. Stay on the bus for approximately 40-50 minutes until you reach the Maraetai Drive stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk down Maraetai Drive to reach Maraetai Beach.

Start at Britomart Transport Centre in Auckland. Take the Eastern Line train towards Manukau. Alight at the Papakura Station. From Papakura, transfer to bus route 30 (Pukekohe) or 35 (Bucklands Beach). Ride the bus until you reach the Maraetai Drive stop. Once you disembark, walk down Maraetai Drive for about 10 minutes to arrive at Maraetai Beach.

Begin your journey at the Auckland Ferry Terminal and take a ferry to Pine Harbour. Ferries run frequently, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Pine Harbour, catch the bus route 30 (Pukekohe) or 35 (Bucklands Beach) from the bus stop near the ferry terminal. Ride until you reach the Maraetai Drive stop, then walk down Maraetai Drive for about 10 minutes to reach Maraetai Beach.
