Walking
If you are in the Devonport village area, start at the Devonport Ferry Terminal located on Victoria Road. Head northeast on Victoria Road towards the intersection with Church Street. Turn right onto Church Street and continue until it merges into Takarunga Road. Keep walking along Takarunga Road. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach Krarkin Point, located at 14/16 Takarunga Road. Look for signs indicating the park area as you approach.
Public Transport
From the Devonport Ferry Terminal, you can catch a bus towards Takarunga Road. Look for the bus stops near the ferry terminal; the bus number 804 will take you closer to Krarkin Point. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Takarunga Road. The fare is approximately NZD 2.50 to NZD 5.00 depending on the distance. After getting off the bus, walk approximately 5 minutes along Takarunga Road to reach Krarkin Point.
