If you are already in the Central City area, Cathedral Square is quite accessible by foot. Start at any well-known landmark, like the Christchurch Botanic Gardens or the Canterbury Museum. From the Botanic Gardens, head towards Rolleston Avenue, then turn left onto Worcester Boulevard. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Montreal Street, where you will see the Cathedral Square ahead. It is a short walk and you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings along the way.
