If you are in the central city area, head towards Victoria Square, which is located just a few blocks away from the Canterbury Museum. From Victoria Square, walk east along Armagh Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Gloucester Street. Turn left onto Gloucester Street and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The Canterbury Museum will be on your right at 66 Gloucester Street.

If you prefer to take the bus, locate the nearest bus stop. You can catch any bus that travels towards the central city area. Most buses will stop at the Bus Interchange located on Lichfield Street. From the Bus Interchange, walk towards the east along Lichfield Street until you reach Manchester Street. Turn left onto Manchester Street and then take another left onto Worcester Street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto Gloucester Street. The Canterbury Museum will be located on your left at 66 Gloucester Street.

If you are renting a bicycle, head towards the city center. Follow the designated cycle lanes that run along the Avon River. Cycle towards the Botanic Gardens and then continue to the end of the gardens where you will find a path leading to Rolleston Avenue. From here, turn right onto Rolleston Avenue and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Gloucester Street. Turn left onto Gloucester Street, and the Canterbury Museum will be on your right at 66 Gloucester Street.
