Bus
If you are starting from Cathedral Square, walk to the bus stop located on the corner of Worcester Street and Cathedral Square. Take the bus number 29 or 3 heading towards Addington. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Addington stop, which is near the railway station. Once you get off, walk for about 3 minutes to reach Christchurch Railway Station at 20 Moorhouse Avenue.

From Cathedral Square, walk to the nearest tram stop located on High Street. Board the tram heading towards the Museum. After about 5 stops, get off at the 'Addington' tram stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes down Moorhouse Avenue, and you will arrive at the Christchurch Railway Station.

If you prefer to walk, start from Cathedral Square and head south on Colombo Street. Continue straight until you reach Moorhouse Avenue. Turn left on Moorhouse Avenue, and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. Christchurch Railway Station will be on your right at 20 Moorhouse Avenue. This walk should take around 20-25 minutes.
