To reach the Rose Garden from the Christchurch Central Bus Station, walk to the bus stop located right outside the station. Take the number 17 bus towards 'Hornby' or 'Riccarton' and get off at the 'Riccarton Ave near Deans Ave' stop. From there, walk north on Riccarton Avenue for about 10 minutes until you see the entrance to the Botanic Gardens on your left. The Rose Garden is located within the gardens.

If you are staying in the central city area, you can walk to the Rose Garden. Start at Cathedral Square and head southwest on Worcester Boulevard. Continue onto Armagh Street, then turn right onto Rolleston Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the entrance to the Botanic Gardens. Once inside, follow the pathways to the Rose Garden, which is located prominently within the gardens.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations around the city. Head towards the Botanic Gardens by following the cycle paths along Oxford Terrace. Once you reach the gardens, park your bike at the designated bike racks near the entrance. The Rose Garden is easily accessible from any path within the gardens.
