If you are starting from the Christchurch Central City area, head south on Colombo Street. As you walk, you will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Moorhouse Avenue. Turn left onto Moorhouse Avenue and keep walking until you reach the intersection with Hagley Avenue. South Hagley Park is located at the corner of Moorhouse Avenue and Hagley Avenue. You will see the entrance to the park, marked with signs and green spaces.

From the central bus interchange, board any bus heading towards Hagley Park. The bus numbers 1, 3, and 17 frequently service this route.
