If you are starting from the Christchurch Central City area, head south on Colombo Street. As you walk, you will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Moorhouse Avenue. Turn left onto Moorhouse Avenue and keep walking until you reach the intersection with Hagley Avenue. South Hagley Park is located at the corner of Moorhouse Avenue and Hagley Avenue. You will see the entrance to the park, marked with signs and green spaces.

From the central bus interchange, board any bus heading towards Hagley Park. The bus numbers 1, 3, and 17 frequently service this route. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop at Hagley Avenue and Moorhouse Avenue. Once you get off the bus, South Hagley Park will be directly in front of you. Follow the pathway towards the park entrance.

Cycling
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Christchurch Central City and head south on Victoria Street. Continue cycling until you reach Bealey Avenue. Turn left onto Bealey Avenue and cycle until you reach the intersection with Hagley Avenue. Turn right onto Hagley Avenue, and you will find South Hagley Park to your right, at the corner of Hagley Avenue and Moorhouse Avenue. There are bike racks available near the park entrance.
