From the Kaikoura town center, head south on Beach Road. Continue walking along Beach Road until you reach the intersection with South Bay Parade. Turn left onto South Bay Parade. Keep walking along South Bay Parade, and you will see signs for Peninsula Walk as you approach South Bay. The walk starts near the southern end of South Bay, where you can find the entrance to the trail. The total distance from the town center to the Peninsula Walk entrance is approximately 3 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes on foot.
