Car
If you're driving from Blenheim, head east on State Highway 1 (SH1) towards Picton. Continue for about 20 km until you reach the turn-off for Waihopai Valley Road. Turn onto Waihopai Valley Road and continue for approximately 10 km. You will reach Rams Head located at Waihopai Valley 7276. Parking is available at the site.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Blenheim to Picton. Look for the services provided by InterCity or local providers. Once in Picton, you can hire a taxi or shuttle service to Waihopai Valley. Ensure to book the taxi in advance or check for local shuttle options as public transport directly to Rams Head is limited.
Hiking
If you wish to hike to Rams Head, you can start your hike from the nearest accessible point on Waihopai Valley Road. Make sure to check local maps for trails leading to the area. This option is for experienced hikers and will require proper gear and supplies.
