To reach the Waitomo Glowworm Caves by car from anywhere in Manawatu-Wanganui, first head towards State Highway 3 (SH3). If you are in Palmerston North, take SH3 north towards Fielding. After about 20 kilometers, you will reach the junction for SH1; continue on SH3 toward Otorohanga. After approximately 85 kilometers, you will see signs for Waitomo Caves. Turn onto Waitomo Village Road, and you will find the Glowworm Caves at 39 Waitomo Village Road, Waitomo Caves 3977. Parking is available on-site, and no additional fees are required for parking.
