If you're driving in Waitomo Caves, start from the Waitomo Caves Visitor Centre located at 39 Waitomo Caves Road. Head south on Waitomo Caves Road and continue for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Ruakuri Road and follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The entrance to Ruakuri Cave will be on your right, clearly marked with signs. There is parking available on-site.

To reach Ruakuri Cave using public transportation, take the local bus service from the Waitomo Caves Visitor Centre. Buses typically run every hour. Inform the driver you want to go to Ruakuri Cave, and they will drop you off close to the entrance. Once you get off the bus, walk down Ruakuri Road for about 500 meters, and you'll arrive at the cave entrance.
