Getting There

• Walking

  Start from Masterton town center. Head south on Queen Street, passing local shops and cafes. Continue straight onto Lincoln Road. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the end of Lincoln Road. Turn left onto State Highway 2 (SH2) heading towards Featherston. Walk for approximately 30 minutes along SH2 until you reach the intersection with Princess Street in Martinborough. Turn right onto Princess Street. Muirlea Rise is located at 50 Princess Street, which is about a 5-minute walk down the road on your left.

• Bus

  From Masterton, take the bus from the Masterton Bus Terminal. Look for a route heading towards Martinborough. Depending on the bus service, the journey may take around 30-45 minutes. After arriving at the Martinborough bus stop, walk down to Princess Street. Muirlea Rise is located at 50 Princess Street, approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head east on Princess Street until you reach the winery.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Masterton. Start by heading south on Queen Street, then continue straight onto Lincoln Road. Follow Lincoln Road until you reach the intersection with State Highway 2 (SH2). Turn left onto SH2 and cycle for about 6 km towards Martinborough. When you reach the intersection with Princess Street, turn right. Muirlea Rise is located at 50 Princess Street, about 1 km down the road on your left.
