There is ample parking available, but be aware it may fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons.

If you are using public transportation, take the shuttle service that runs from Te Anau to Milford Sound. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Milford Sound, the shuttle will drop you off directly at the Milford Sound Visitor Terminal. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance for departure times and to purchase your ticket. The shuttle costs around NZD 90 for a round trip and typically includes stops for scenic views along the way.
