Starting from the Milford Sound Visitor Centre, head south on Milford Sound Highway (State Highway 94). Continue along this scenic route for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the Yates Point car park on your right. The parking area is clearly marked, and from there, you will find walking paths leading to Yates Point. Ensure your vehicle is parked in designated areas to avoid fines.

If you are taking a bus from Te Anau, board the bus that heads to Milford Sound. The journey will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Milford Sound Visitor Centre, you can either walk or take a taxi to Yates Point. Walking will require you to head south on Milford Sound Highway (State Highway 94) for about 10 kilometers. Alternatively, taxis may be available at the Visitor Centre for a more direct and comfortable ride.
