Start your journey at the Napier i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 100 Marine Parade. From there, head south on Marine Parade, enjoying the seaside views. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Tennyson Street. Turn left onto Tennyson Street. After a short walk, you will find the Art Deco walk starting point at 7 Tennyson Street, Napier South.

If you are near the Napier War Memorial Conference Centre, begin your walk from there. Exit the Centre and head east towards Marine Parade. Once you reach Marine Parade, turn right and walk along the promenade for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Tennyson Street when you reach the intersection. The Art Deco walk will be located at 7 Tennyson Street, Napier South, just further down the street.
