Bus
From Napier city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Marine Parade, which is located near the iSite Visitor Centre. Catch the 'Hastings' bus (Route 10) and stay on the bus for about 25 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Flaxmere Shops.' From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Ash Ridge Winery. Head south on Flaxmere Avenue, then turn left onto State Highway 50. Continue walking down State Highway 50 for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the winery, which will be on your right at 2543 State Highway 50.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Napier. Start at the Marine Parade and head towards the Taradale Road. Follow Taradale Road until you reach the intersection with State Highway 50. Turn left onto State Highway 50 and continue riding for about 6 kilometers. Ash Ridge Winery will be on your right at 2543 State Highway 50. Take care as this route runs along a busy road.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start at the Napier iSite Visitor Centre located at 100 Marine Parade. Walk along the Marine Parade heading north, then turn left onto Shakespeare Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Highway 50. Cross over to the other side of the highway and continue walking along State Highway 50 for about 5 kilometers. Ash Ridge Winery will be located on your left at 2543 State Highway 50.
