Walking
If you are starting from Napier's city centre, head south on Emerson Street until you reach the intersection with Marine Parade. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach Marine Parade, turn right and continue walking along the waterfront until you arrive at the Marine Parade park area. Along the way, you will see various attractions including the Napier Soundshell and the iconic Art Deco architecture.

From the Napier Intercity Bus Terminal, take the local bus service towards Marine Parade. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time. Disembark at the Marine Parade stop, which is centrally located. From there, it's just a short walk to the park and beach area. Follow the path towards the waterfront, and you'll find yourself at Marine Parade in just a couple of minutes.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city. Start at the Napier city centre and follow the designated bike lanes heading towards Marine Parade.
