From Nelson city center, head to the Nelson Bus Station located at 84-90 Nile Street. Take the 'Stoke' bus route (check the schedule for exact times) which will take you directly to Stoke. Once you reach Stoke, disembark at the stop closest to Hilliard Street. From there, walk towards Hilliard Street, which should be a short 5-10 minute walk. Isel Park is located at 16 Hilliard Street; follow the signs leading to the park.

If you're in the central Nelson area, you can walk to Isel Park. Start by heading east on Trafalgar Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hardy Street. Turn left onto Hardy Street and follow it as it curves into Hilliard Street. Isel Park will be on your left once you reach 16 Hilliard Street, which is approximately a 45-minute walk from the city center.
Bicycle
For those cycling, you can take the scenic route along the waterfront. Start at the Nelson Marina and follow the waterfront path until you reach the intersection with Haven Road. Turn left onto Haven Road and continue until you reach the intersection with Hilliard Street. Turn right onto Hilliard Street, and Isel Park will be located at 16 Hilliard Street. The entire trip should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
