    From the Nelson i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 74 Trafalgar Street, head east on Trafalgar Street towards the intersection with Hardy Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Victoria Street. Turn left onto Victoria Street and walk for about 5 minutes until you hit the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Bridge Street. Continue on Bridge Street until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the Maitai River. Cross the bridge; Queen's Gardens will be directly on your right as you come down from the bridge.

    From the Nelson bus station located on 91-93 Bridge Street, take the 'Nelson City' bus route. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the 'Maitai River' stop. From there, walk towards the river and cross the pedestrian bridge. Once across, turn right, and you will find Queen's Gardens a short walk ahead on your right.
