If you're driving from Dunedin, take State Highway 1 north towards Oamaru. After approximately 2 hours, take the exit for Moeraki. Follow signs to Moeraki and then turn onto Lighthouse Road. Continue along Lighthouse Road for about 5 minutes until you reach the Katiki Point Lighthouse. There is parking available near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
To reach Katiki Point Lighthouse using public transport, take a bus from Dunedin to Oamaru. Companies like New Zealand Bus or InterCity operate this route. Once you arrive at Oamaru, you may need to use a local taxi service or rideshare to get to Moeraki, as public transport options to Moeraki are limited. From Moeraki, follow Lighthouse Road for about 5 minutes to reach the lighthouse.
