Car

From Dunedin, take State Highway 1 (SH1) north towards Oamaru. After approximately 2 hours (around 120 km), take the exit towards State Highway 83 (SH83) towards Kurow. Continue on SH83 for about 25 km until you reach a junction with Glenavy-Hilderthorpe Road. Turn right onto Glenavy-Hilderthorpe Road. Riverstone Castle is located at 1431 Glenavy-Hilderthorpe Road, Waitaki Bridge. Look for the sign for the castle as you approach.

From Dunedin, take a bus to Oamaru (check the bus schedules as they may vary). The bus journey takes about 2.5 hours.
