Upon arriving at Opua, disembark and head left towards the Opua Forest. Follow the signs towards Oromahoe Road. The entrance to the Opua Kauri Walk is located along Oromahoe Road. Keep an eye out for the signpost for the Opua Kauri Walk as you approach the area.

    From Paihia, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Marsden Road. Catch the bus heading to Opua. The bus journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Oromahoe Road. After disembarking, walk towards Oromahoe Road and follow the signs to the Opua Kauri Walk entrance. The trailhead is clearly marked, and you should soon see the signage leading you onto the walk.
