If you are in the Palmerston North city centre, start at The Square, a central meeting point. From The Square, walk east along George Street until you reach the intersection with Fitzherbert Avenue. Cross Fitzherbert Avenue and continue straight along George Street, which will turn into Te Awe Awe Street. Continue walking for about 20 minutes. You will pass several parks on your left, and keep an eye out for local shops and cafes. Caccia Birch House will be located on your right at 130 Te Awe Awe Street. Look for a large, historic building surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance down Te Awe Awe Street, and you will see Caccia Birch House at 130 Te Awe Awe Street on your left.
